Featured Project: The Samaritan Inn

One of our most meaningful contributions was to The Samaritan Inn in Washington, D.C. In partnership with Davis Construction, our president, Mike Cochran, and senior project manager, Charlie Dukes, rolled up their sleeves to support the opening of the Samaritan Inn’s newest facility at 1215 Fairmont Street.

This wasn’t just a project—it was a mission. The Samaritan Inn’s goal is to offer structured housing and recovery services to individuals facing homelessness and addiction. Their new Transitional Living Program serves up to 50 men annually, offering not only shelter, but also treatment services and life skills training.

We donated both materials and manpower because we believe that a fresh coat of paint can do more than refresh a wall—it can restore dignity and hope.
