Project Overview:Woodleigh Chase is an impressive senior living community designed to provide comfort, connection, and convenience for its residents. Located at 9805 Woodleigh Lane in Fairfax, Virginia, this thoughtfully planned campus combines contemporary architecture with vibrant living spaces, creating a welcoming environment for independent senior living.
Developed by Erickson Senior Living, Woodleigh Chase is the company’s fourth community in Virginia and features stylish apartment residences, inviting shared amenities, and beautifully designed spaces that encourage an active and engaging lifestyle for residents.
Cochran & Mann played an important role in this large-scale, multi-phase project by providing interior and exterior painting services along with wallcovering installation throughout the completed buildings.
Working alongside general contractor R.G. Brinkmann Company and architect JHP Architecture / Urban Design, the team helped bring the vision of this modern senior living community to life. The finished spaces reflect a balance of durability, aesthetics, and comfort—enhancing both the exterior appearance and interior living environments for residents to enjoy for years to come.
Challenges:
Managing production across multiple buildings simultaneously required careful coordination and scheduling. Work was performed on multiple floors at the same time while crews also completed final punch list items to prepare units for turnover to the owner.Maintaining efficiency across these overlapping tasks demanded significant planning, communication, and on-site coordination to keep the project moving forward without delays.
Through careful planning and consistent coordination, Cochran & Mann successfully maintained the project schedule and delivered completed units on time for owner turnover.
The Woodleigh Chase community is being developed in multiple phases and will ultimately include nine buildings consisting of residential apartment buildings and community amenity spaces.
To date, six buildings have been completed, providing hundreds of independent living residences along with thoughtfully designed amenities that form the foundation of this growing senior living campus.
